Ribs were awesome. Cornbread is awesome. Dirty rice is Fabulous. Coleslaw not so much to my taste but was fresh.
I live 2 minutes away from this place and I've been anxiously awaiting the grand opening. I expected to have to wait a tad longer and I also expected them to be sold out of some items very quickly. I do not mind waiting for good food and I totally understand the fact they just opened and things are going to be rough at first. The employees were very kind and family like, the chef came out numerous times with greetings, thanks and better yet..... Samples:) The food was excellent and I will be back many times! I just hope they continue to produce great food regardless of the wait time. I'm confident they will get a system in place and become much more efficient. The place was PACKED and many of us waited in the parking lot. I recommend them getting those little buzzer discs as I imagine them becoming busier and busier. Once they get their efficiency down this place is going to be the go to spot for our area. If you are a down south BBQ lover like myself this place is a must! Great job TenderBones! This is the best place around for ribs, smoked pork, smoked chicken, fried fish and chicken, and more. You can even get a burger or a hotdog. Chef and his crew are very welcoming and hospitable. It's a very casual and friendly place to enjoy various smoked meat that just falls off the bone. I would give it more stars if I could!
My friend and I came here today for the first time and the food was amazing!! There was a little wait, but it is completely understandable because all food was made to order. The chef was even kind enough to come out, talk to customers, and give out samples of their fried fish and brisket while we waited. (Will definitely be back again to get both) we ordered ribs, a pulled pork sandwhich, mac and cheese, and fries. Everything was so very good. You can tell that the owners really care about their customers and community. Also, great customer service from the young men up front! Great job!!! Will definitely be back!
I have been going there since they opened and I love this place. The staff there, everyone that I've met, are the friendliest group of people. Everyone there is so nice and helpful. My husband and I always call ahead for their cheeseburgers (best cheeseburger I've ever eaten)and for the price they can't be beat. I will never eat a burger anywhere else. I am not real adventurous when it comes to food so that's all I've tried so far but if everything is as good as their made to order burgers, you would be foolish to go anywhere else.
